Castillo de Monjardín

Family-run winery
Foothills of the Pyrenees

When we started sip, our dream was to work with an independent winery who had an innovative approach to making wine. So we were delighted to partner with Castillo de Monjardín — an award-winning, family-run winery in the northwest of Navarra, Spain, in the foothills of the Pyrenees.

The unique microclimate of Monjardín's high-altitude vineyards, influenced by the Atlantic coast, gives their wines a distinctive character.

Night Harvest

100% Chardonnay

Harvested in the cool of the night to preserve freshness, vibrancy, and crisp acidity. Bright notes of citrus, apple, and white peach with excellent concentration and a rich, lingering finish. Navarra's high-altitude vineyards, cool breezes, and sunshine create the perfect conditions for grapes with remarkable depth of flavour.

75 Vines

100% Garnacha · 6 months oak ageing

From a 75-year-old vineyard called La Cantera (the Quarry), where stony terroir radiates heat through cold evenings while ripening the grapes. The older the vines, the more expressive the wine — and this Garnacha has punchy flavours. Aged 6 months in oak, adding structure and subtle spice. Ruby in colour with ripe red berry flavours and a smooth, velvety finish.
